Services | Commercial Contractors

Orange County-based Greater Pacific Construction Company has years of experience in the commercial contracting area. Its work includes:

Tenant Improvement

When a company leases building space for its new headquarters, its job has just begun. Typically, tenant space requires construction to add flooring, walls, lighting, office space, and more.

Greater Pacific Construction follows a well-practiced formula for tenant space construction. The most important step is gathering client requirements.

For example, when the company conducts work on shopping centers, it goes beyond just building interior offices for multipurpose use. Instead, Greater Pacific offers to tailor each office to the type of business that it will house.

Handling this customization during the construction phase makes the office space more attractive to potential tenants. Also, it reduces the mess and obstruction of having a build team work on the space at a later date. Knowing the needs of the clients and forming a build plan around them separates our work from others.

Remodels

Remodeling is necessary when a building's space must be altered to meet the new requirements of a company. For example, a business may choose to digitize its paperwork, making unnecessary the file room that currently occupies space in the middle of its building.

Enter Greater Pacific Construction. A remodeling job later, and the file room is now extra office space, a new conference room, a common area for employee lunch times, or whatever else the client chooses. Remodeling helps companies avoid the cost of new construction or moving to an entirely new building.

Additions

When a company creates new business, it often leads to increased hiring. This can be a very exciting time for a company. However, it may also present challenges. For example, the amount of physical space an office provides may not be enough to accommodate a growing staff. Help can come from commercial contractors.

Orange County clients of Greater Pacific will find that additions to their offices can take place without significant disturbance. Careful sequencing of work minimizes time on-site. This means that a company's operations can take place without major disturbances.

Renovations

Projecting the right image as a business is essential. That's why renovation work is often necessary in office buildings. Some have undergone significant wear-and-tear. For others, the office's design may no longer be up-to-date.

Greater Pacific Construction approaches jobs like these with its background as both a commercial builder and a general contractor. Orange County clients experience our "benchmark" approach: work is completed in phases, and clients approve our progress as we achieve each benchmark. This ensures that clients get what they expect from our construction.

Home Remodeling and Construction in California:

Virtually homes and apartments have space limitations or unusual shapes. The locations of building wiring, plumbing, structural elements, and other fixed features often pose design challenges.

Creative and sophisticated thinking, combined with in-depth knowledge of city codes and building regulations, are essential to solving these challenges and designing to the maximum potential of your space.

The first decision you may have to make is whether to hire an architect. In general, if you plan to make an addition to the building, or alter or relocate structural elements such as beams or supporting walls, you will have to obtain architectural plans. These will then be filed with building department to obtain a building permit. Major relocations of gas lines or building plumbing also require permits.

If the alteration is less severe and does not require architectural plans, a properly licensed contractor can do the filing for you. If you are simply remodeling without changing the locations of gas lines, plumbing, or any structural elements, then you won't need to file with the building department.

Most do not require filing with the building department. But in all cases, your contractor must provide you with insurance coverage, a written job description and contract, and any other documentation that your building may require.

A design/build firm such as ours has the skilled professionals to do everything you need in-house, from of all details.

For your own enjoyment, and also for re-sale value, the most important room to remodel is your kitchen. More and more, the kitchen is becoming the focus for gatherings of friends and family. If you are only planning to remodel your kitchen, you can jump ahead to our "Kitchens" page for a complete description of that renovation process.

The second most significant room to remodel is your bathroom. The process is fairly similar to a Kitc kitchen except, instead of appliances, more plumbing is required. As with the kitchen, you will need to select the items to be installed before the work can begin. For all your selections, we make your shopping easy, informative, and complete.

Don't overlook the added value of custom built-ins in other rooms of your home. Think for a moment about some exquisite homes you may have seen. The traditional ones have wainscot paneling, fine wood bookcases and furniture, coffered ceilings, and other built-ins that make these homes so elegant and valuable.

Contemporary homes are best enhanced by a careful selection of materials, stains, paint colors, and finishes to create richness with minimal decor.

Whether your taste is traditional, contemporary, or in-between, value always shows in the quality and finishes of the materials you choose. To assure your complete satisfaction, we do all the specifying in-house and we carry though on the fabrication, delivery, and final details of installation on all the custom products you would like
